Another Lap Around the Sun

Katie v.28 Highlights

• Moved to Italy  
  
• Ran a marathon
• More than one time asked myself if I was crazy, but never once answered "yes" 
• Stayed in 6 countries
• Adopted a cat 
  
• Stomped grapes a la Lucy style
  
• Discovered true Italian espresso
• Finally believed that what I have in my post high school years is more than what some people do in a lifetime...piano, piano.  

Tomorrow marks the start of my 29th lap around the sun. Those 365 day will be filled with a passion for living, adventure, family, running, laughter, coffee, friends, new freckles, hugs, cat fur on dark clothing, & a whole lot of unknown. There will also be sadness, frustration, spoken good-byes, anger, muscle aches, overtime at work, changed plans, & Giants' losses, but as I speed through this lap at 100,000km/hr I hope those instance are quickly passed and only sprinkled throughout all the wonderful things. 

Ready or not I'm seated in this awesome seat I found on lap 28 and I can't wait to see what new things I'll find on this go around. Maybe this is the year I'll find some of those things that I just couldn't quite get to in previous years? Hey, no regrets- I am pressing forward!
